Rudolf Buitendach Officially Attached as Director of The Pensioner Gang Movie

Feature film based on true events, with a novel published on Amazon, advances towards planned production in London and Amsterdam in April/May 2027.

Diamond Media Group announces that internationally experienced filmmaker Rudolf Buitendach has officially attached as director of The Pensioner Gang Movie, a feature film based on true events and developed from the published novel by Geoffrey Harrison.

Set in London and Amsterdam in 2008, the crime drama/thriller is progressing through pre-production, with principal photography planned for April/May 2027. Financing, co-production and distribution discussions form part of the project's development strategy.

An International Feature-Film Director

Rudolf Buitendach is a South African-born director, editor, writer and producer whose credits include Dark Hearts (2014), Where the Road Runs Out (2014), Apartment 407 (2016) and Hex (2018).

His wider experience includes feature-film production, international post-production, theatrical trailers, the Netflix feature Angeliena (2021) and the documentary Medicine of the Wolf (2015). His background combines creative direction with substantial film editing and post-production experience.

Diamond Media Group has announced that The Pensioner Gang, written by Australian broadcaster and producer Geoffrey Harrison, is now a published novel available on Amazon Kindle.

The Pensioner Gang: They thought they were done. Crime Didn't Agree. is a crime drama combining humour, suspense, international intrigue and larger-than-life characters.

Set against London and Amsterdam in 2008, the story follows a group of retired criminals whose past catches up with them when they become involved in one final, high-stakes operation.

Diamond Media Group has announced that it will attend MIPCOM CANNES 2026 in Cannes, France, from 12–15 October, with its international media platform Travel Radio Australia represented at one of the world's most important gatherings for the global television, film and digital content industries.

Travel Radio Australia's presenter and producer Geoff Harrison will attend MIPCOM CANNES for the fifth consecutive year as an accredited member of the international press.

Held annually at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, MIPCOM brings together television networks, streaming platforms, studios, production companies, distributors, creators, brands, technology companies and buyers from around the world.

Diamond Media Group will use its presence at MIPCOM to develop international relationships across its growing portfolio of media, entertainment and digital projects, while Travel Radio Australia continues building its international network of broadcasters, tourism organisations, production companies, travel brands and media partners.
